I like the idea of FMQ, but I just don’t like the uneven stitches. Some long, some short. guess i’ll just keep paying my long armer until the day I have room in my house to buy my own 😢

I use a pipe cleaner to keep bobbins and thread together.

I use the same one!!! It’s the only one that has ever come close to fitting me. I use a size Small but stilll have to roll the end at the knuckle in because I have such petite hands. I truly need a children’s thimble but have only found them in antiques and sorry (not sorry) going to pay over $200 plus have to have shipped from the UK!! Like you Tracy I have purchased and tried to use all I came across. The other only thing I have found helpful is the stick on dot ones but they lose their sticky and I don’t want to super glue it on my finger. 🤣🤣 This Bohin is GAME CHANGER!!! EPP is much more comfortable now!! 💙🪡🧵

My plan on zippers is to use up all the size 4.5 (byAnnie) zippers I have then only buy the large rolls of white and black from Wawak then cover them with coordinating fabric so I don’t have to deal with colors any longer. If someone wants a special zipper, they can pay for it. My strapping all has labels on them with the length remaining marked. Same with zipper tape. I need to sort everything fast - I’m moving sometime soon and have no idea when or how much space I will have. Yikes. Here’s yet another plea/request for a tutorial on that Quiltmas quilt. I absolutely loved it.

One shelf at a time clean it off completely and rearrange according to color ,materials , etc etc

The running joke in our family is the whole house is my sewing room! I have a small area in the back room where I store most of my crafts that is best described as organized chaos. I use the dining room and living room as a craft room as well.😂🤣😂 Thank you sooooo much for sharing this!!!

I had to put a spacer from the wall to use mine so I just mad a 1×1 frame in the back of mine

I found that cleaning up as I go, and doing a thorough cleaning after each large project (like a quilt), helps me not have the situation your second sewing room has...otherwise my sewing studio would look the same as yours!

Thank you!!! At least you can walk through both of your sewing rooms. I have 2 rooms also, and over 20 large totes of fabric in the garage, but I can't walk though that whole area either. I find myself spreading out my work and not putting away leftovers when projects are done. Thank you for making me face up and try to improve. You beat me on the zippers, but I can't part with them.😂

I made one tears ago, but not sure if I have a pic since out hard drive died a couple of years ago and with it went several pics, bit I think I do have som placemats I made as my very first project...I'll look for them!

I would suggest labeling all the zipper bags before putting bins. Then maybe make a paper label to tape to bin to list all the zipper bags in that particular bin. Store bins on shelves with labels showing. Makes my life easier. Enjoyed your show. First time viewer

You are inspiring me to organize more and get rid of stuff I will probably never use. I am glad it's not just me having stuff unsorted. I did manage to organize most of my zippers, ribbons, strapping etc. in bins and placed them on a book shelf with labels. It's extremely hard for me to organize anything in a small apartment. I have stashes everywhere and it's a pain trying to find something I need. I don't have a sewing room and sometimes procrastinate on getting stuff out for a project and then having to put it away again so I can have a chair to watch a movie. I all so have a piles of yarn that I crochet and knit with and it takes up a lot of room. I wish I could shut door and leave it for the next day to start on a project again.
